SEO Case Study – What happens when you stop SEO?
As an SEO specialist, I'm sometimes asked by my clients or future prospect clients the following question, "I'm already number one, why should I continue SEO?"
.
The answer is in most cases two fold:
- No matter how good you think your current results are, it's unlikely that you’re number one for everything - there are always more rankings to chase.
- It’s not going to be long before somebody notices that they aren’t ranking as well as they used to…and if they’re savvy, you can count on them doing something about it.
It's therefore important to defend and improve upon your organic rankings with ongoing SEO efforts.
